CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION REVISION COMMISSION

Created by the California Legislature in 1993, the California Constitutional Revision Commission completed its work in 1996 and is no longer active. It was charged with recommending changes in the State Constitution to assist state and local governments function more efficiently and effectively.

On behalf of the Commission, the California State Library developed this web site to allow greater awareness and participation by the public. The State Library now maintains the site as a useful historical public policy resource.
