The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County provides comprehensive service throughout the county and beyond through its 42 agencies--the Main Library, six large regional branch libraries and 35 additional neighborhood branches. It consistently ranks among the top library systems in the nation in total circulation, circulation per capita, volumes per capita and cost per item circulated.

The Amelia Valerio Weinberg Memorial Fountain by sculptor Michael Frasca is located at the Vine Street entrance of the Main Library.
