National Library of Australia director-general visits OCLC

Phyllis Spies, Warren Horton, and Andrew H. Wang [photo] Warren Horton, director-general of the National Library of Australia, visited OCLC on March 15-16 and participated in the 17th Annual International Conference of Research Library Directors. The National Library of Australia signed an agreement in March enabling 1,300 Australian libraries that use the library’s Kinetica system to become full or partial OCLC members, giving them access to the OCLC Cataloging and Resource Sharing services. Pictured in the atrium of the OCLC Smith Building are Phyllis Spies, OCLC vice president, Worldwide Sales; Mr. Horton; and Andrew H. Wang, director, OCLC Asia Pacific Services.
