SISIS-SunRise is based on a client-server-model using the multi-tier-architecture. For application and database servers SISIS-SunRise uses high performance hardware from Sun or on basis of Intel using Solaris or Linux.
The clients run on Windows 32-bit systems and completely implemented in Java, making future porting to Linux desktops possible. We recommend usage of Citrix Metaframe resp. Windows Terminal Server for client administration on employment on a larger scale.
The relational database systems Sybase, ORACLE and Informix are supported by SISIS-SunRise.
