Our Homepage Gets a Make-Over!

| | Comments (2)

Just wanted to let you know that we've made some changes to our homepage. We hope this will make it easier to find what you're looking for and find out about other things you can do with WorldCat, while still maintaining the simple, clean search box. Watch for a few more tweaks on this in the coming weeks.

Take a look at WorldCat.org and let us know what you think!

We've noticed that you have removed the "beta" from the homepage as part of this makeover. What does this mean, exactly? Thanks.

Thanks for your comment, Jeffrey. In a nutshell, we're confident that WorldCat.org is no longer a "test" environment. It's a fully functioning site that is fulfilling its mission of delivering the services of libraries to users on the web. This certainly doesn't mean we're going to stop adding new features and functionality. We have a long list of enhancements and aspirations that'll keep us busy for years to come. After all the changes we've made over the 18+ months since launch, we felt it was time to graduate WorldCat.org up out of the "beta" label.
