The foursome are just back from seeing an Italian film. Fred couldn't understand it and Lucy is turning into Anna Magnani. Lucy wants to get an Italian haircut, but Ricky says no. "Men have short hair and women have long hair. That's the difference between us. I don't want my son to be confused." Lucy goes to the hairdressers' where 'the new Italian look' is being featured. She tries on an Italian cut wig and no one can recognize her. She decides to test Ricky's faithfulness by flirting with him. The owner of the shop warns Ricky and he decides to teach Lucy a lesson by going along. Lucy in disguise arranges a double date with Ricky and Fred; thanks to her friend who is a costumer for a Broadway show, Ethel is disguised as a combination Japanese geisha-Eskimo-American Indian. However, when Lucy and Ethel get to the restaurant, the waiter tells them that Ricky and Fred were already there, but left with two other girls
