"The story starts in 1945 as the war is ending. A young boy's father has been killed ... [and] memories of his beloved father become confused with his fantasies ... and affect the boy all through his adolescence and young manhood. ... His love for a Jewish girl, his visit to the small town where his father was born ... shed light and create shadows simultaneously. The film ... poses more questions than it resolves."--Program notes

Apa : egy hit naplója = Père : journal d'une intime conviction by István Szabó( Visual )

1 edition published in 2014 in Hungarian and held by 4 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

(Source : jaquette)
