The wild Gelada baboon, Theropithecus gelada, inhabits the remote mountains of Ethiopia. Filmed in the High Semyen, this documentary depicts the social, agnostic, sexual and play behavior of the species. In particular, it reveals the complex "harem" based social organization and describes the way in which social structure changes in relation to environmental stress.
