It focuses mainly on the local and national effect of measures taken by receiving countries to restrict immigration and to encourage voluntary repatriation. Part II examines return migration from the point of view of host countries, notably France, Germany FR, Sweden and Finland. Part III is concerned with perspectives on return migration, examining historical cases (for example USA to Poland, and Australia to Holland), and theoretical analyses to explain return migration.
