This dictionary was prepared for use during field work among the rungus dusun people in north borneo. Many words whose referents and semantic ranges were unknown or uncertain were included for research purposes. Representing the first stage of structural analysis of the language, this compilation contains a minimal section on the phonetic symbols used. The first portion of the volume contains lexical items listed in rungus dusun and glossed in english. The second portion, which is in two sections, contains an english-rungus dusun listing of high frequency words in alphabetical order, and an english-rungus dusun listing of items by major categories such as "agriculture, ""equipment, ""property," and "religion."
