Wilford/Wilfred was born 1794 in Maryland. He is the first proven Blair ancestor to the lines in America. He was a son of Peter Blair (b. 1767). He married Mary Jane Wathen (1805-1864) in 1821 in Wash- ington County, Kentucky. She was born in Nelson Co., Kentucky, a daughter of Sylvester and Sarah Simms Wathen. Descendants live in Kansas, Kentucky, Canada and elsewhere
