Section 3 discusses the dimensions of the task of developing international competence. Section 4 includes six views representing the various sectors that make up the ppic, and what each sector can contribute to that partnership. Section 5 includes 30 articles discussing several initiatives and programs that will contribute to the development of international competency in the areas of geography and life sciences, languages, history, basic education, higher education, basic/higher education collaborations, education/business networking, and education and communication/technology.
