A report guide to thermal testing literature by Charles P Merhib( Book )

1 edition published in 1964 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This guide consists of a bibliography of items currently in the AMRA Nondestructive Testing Information Retrieval System covering the subject of thermal testing. Where available, each item in this journal consists of the following information: (1) item, report, or article title; (2) author or authors; (3) source or facility; (4) report number or identification; (5) date; and (6) abstract. Word descriptors pertinent to each item are listed in alphabetical order and are cross-referenced by the AMRA identification number. Fracture arrest by Joseph I Bluhm( Book )

1 edition published in 1967 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Motivation for the present paper is based upon the presumption that unaccountable errors or deficiencies in design and/or materials selection may lead to the initiation of rapid fracture and that to avoid the normal catastrophic consequences of this, it is highly desirable to devise an arrest mechanism which will halt a crack before gross failure occurs. Two major approaches are suggested: one relates to the exploitation of materials; the other to the integration of structural design techniques. The former entails the development and use of materials which by their toughness characteristics help in arresting propagating cracks; the latter entails techniques whereby the stress levels near the crack tip are subdued as a result of structural configuration
A report guide to magnetic particle testing literature by Ernest H Rodgers( Book )

2 editions published between 1966 and 1970 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The main objective of the compilation is to provide a simple and fast access to information on the subject of magnetic particle testing and also to provide sufficient information in the form of abstracts and word descriptors to make the listing useful. Where available, each item consists of the following information: (1) item, report, or article title, (2) author or authors, (3) source or facility, (4) report number or identification, (5) date, and (6) abstracts
