A copy of Bulkley's narrative relating conflict in the colony of Connecticut over self rule and the attempts of James Fitch to return to local civic control. This conflict arose from the appointment of Edmund Andros to govern what was called the Dominion of New England. This elegantly penned volume was copied by V.F. Kuczynsky of Her Majesty's State Papers Office for Henry Stevens. Bulkley graduated from Harvard College and was ordained as a minister in Colchester, Connecticut, in 1703.
