Abstract - Computing today plays a huge part in everyday life in society, as the industry's influence increases the demand to have basic computer understanding from modern society increases with it. This project will be an investigation into the most beneficial methods of teaching senior citizens basic computer skills via E-learning techniques. The Investigation will thoroughly look at all aspects of E-learning in today's society and will (after analysis) aim to identify which techniques are most beneficial to teach senior citizens set skills.This project aims to analyse current non-electronic learning techniques as well as E-learning techniques, which will in turn help identify any advantages and disadvantages of both. The project will also aim to investigate multiple different ways in which basic computer skills could potentially aid the lives of senior citizens whilst taking into account the current situation in today's society regarding senior citizens and the fear of the 'unknown' regarding computers, whilst recognising any expectancy towards senior citizens from society to be involved in the “Internet Revolution” if any at all
