The manuscript is a composite or konvoliut, consisting to two texts: the Liturgy of the Holy Apostle James, brother of the Lord (ff. 1r-37r); and the instructional homily of Patriarch Ioakim "read at the council to all in holy orders ... in the city of Moscow in January 7198 [1690]," (ff. 38r-105v). Note that the scribe numbered the two texts separately - the Liturgy of the Apostle James is foliated as ff. 1-37, and the sermon of Patriarch Ioakim as ff. 1-68
