Thirteen volumes relate to the Social Democratic Party, which changed its name to the Socialist Party in 1906, and include convention proceedings and minutes of various branches and committees. Miscellaneous volumes provide information about early socialist activities in the United States, including minutes of the Arbeiterzeitung editorial board, the Philadelphia Tageblatt Publishing Society, the New York City Local of the International Vestmakers Union and the Shirt, Waist, and Laundry workers International Union
