The National Historic Monument of the Flag is an architectural landmark of the city of Rosario, Argentina, seated in the place where the Independence hero General Manuel Belgrano raised the flag of Argentina for the first time. The building was designed by architects Ángel Guido and Alejandro Bustillo with the participation of the sculptors Alfredo Bigatti and José Fioravanti. More works and accessories created by Eduardo Barnes and Pedro Cresta would be added later along with the sculptures by Lola Mora, in the pond "Pasaje Juramento". The construction began in 1943 and concluded fourteen years later. The official opening was on 1957
