This report reviews and updates the hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical data for 1989; assesses the remedial options for the restoration of the outwash aquifer beneath the SWC; describes the origin and evolution of groundwater contamination at hazardous waste sites; the identity of the contaminants of concern at other sites in eastern Canada; the health risks associated with the consumption of such contaminants in ground waters; and the need for a reliable, remedial investigation of the hydrogeology of a site
