Synchronicity : the inner path of leadership by Joseph Jaworski( Book )

15 editions published between 1996 and 2011 in English and held by 874 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Synchronicity is an inspirational guide to developing the most essential leadership capacity for our time: how we can collectively shape our future. Through the telling of his life story, Jaworski posits that a real leader sets the stage on which "predictable miracles," seemingly synchronistic in nature, can - and do - occur. He shows that this capacity has more to do with our being - our total orientation of character and consciousness - than with what we do

Overview: A captivating collection of enduring verse by one of the Victorian era's most beloved poets. Rossetti is unique among Victorian poets for the sheer range of her subject matter and the variety of her verse form. This collection brings together fantasy poems, such as Goblin Market, and terrifyingly vivid verses for children, love lyrics and sonnets, and the vast body of her devotional poetry. Rossetti's poems weave connections between love and death, triumph and loss, heavenly joys and earthly pleasures. The directness and clarity of her lyrics still have the power to startle us with their truth and beauty
Source : the inner path of knowledge creation by Joseph Jaworski( Book )

7 editions published between 2011 and 2012 in English and French and held by 52 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Jaworski's key discoveries form a four-part statement of principles on which the structure of the book is based. Knowledge gained through access to the Source is, in the words of one cognitive scientist Jaworski met, 'shockingly effective'. It has a transformative impact on every aspect of leadership. You gain the capacity to bring forth new realities, which is what the best leadership does. When connected to this source leaders gain radically new ways of operating. Using the combination of narrative and reflection that made Synchronicity so compelling, Jaworski has written a book that illuminates not only the fundamental nature of visionary leadership but also of relationships, consciousness, and ultimately reality itself

7 editions published between 2004 and 2011 in English and held by 9 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"Presence is an intimate look at a new theory about change and how it can be used to improve our world. In probing conversations held over a year and a half, these organizational pioneers explored how profound transformational change arises, and the fresh possibilities it offers a world dangerously out of balance. By encouraging deeper levels of learning, and by making ourselves present in the world, we can create an awareness of ourselves as part of a larger whole. This astonishing and completely original work defines what it takes us to see, sense and realize new possibilibies, in ourselves, in our institutions and organizations, and in society."--Publisher

Business in the world of water : WBCSD water scenarios to 2025( Book )

2 editions published in 2006 in English and held by 6 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

[The report] offers three stories about the role of business in relation to the growing issue of water in the world. These stories do not try to cover everything but attempt to bring to life a limited number of alternative future environments that will challenge our economic viability, social legitimacy, and global fitness in the marketplace. H = Hydro is the story of efficiency (more value per drop and more drops for less). In Hydro, there is a strategic advantage to being the first to market with the flexible, right-choice solutions rather than being locked out. 2 = Rivers is the story of security - enough water of sufficient quality for both the haves and the have-nots. In Rivers business cannot choose to operate only in the economic realm, which is just one side of the management challenge, if it wants water security. O = Ocean is the story of interconnectivity - accounting for the sustainability of the whole system. In the world of Ocean, business realizes that it cannot help particular communities survive and prosper at the expense of causing water stress elsewhere
Heartfulness transformation in Christ( Visual )

2 editions published in 2009 in English and held by 4 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Through extended interviews with Betty Sue Flowers, Thomas Keating guides the viewer toward an understanding of the contemplative dimension of the Gospel and its extraordinary implications and applications for personal freedom and global peace. He explains that the inherent quest for happiness is itself the greatest proof of God's existence. But, because humans feel they are separate from God, the quest for happiness drives them to seek fulfillment in other more fleeting activities, including the attainment of power, money, and physical attractiveness. While not necessarily negative, these activities are ultimately unsatisfying in and of themselves. Keating then describes how human beings are instead called to embody the image and likeness of God, which he describes as the true Self. The true purpose of life is to provide space for the upward journey of evolution into the mind, heart and whole being of God. Keating calls this the journey of heartfulness. The films are presented primarily within a Catholic context
Reverence : renewing a forgotten virtue by Paul Woodruff( Book )

1 edition published in 2014 in English and held by 4 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"Reverence is an ancient virtue dating back thousands of years. It survives among us in half-forgotten patterns of behavior and in the vestiges of old ceremonies. Yet, Paul Woodruff says, we have lost sight of reverence. Like an important engine part that has rusted over time, the idea of reverence has become increasingly foreign. This short, elegiac volume makes an impassioned case for the fundamental importance of the forgotten virtue of reverence, and how awe for things greater than oneself can - indeed must - be a touchstone for other virtues like respect, humility and charity." "Ranging widely over diverse cultural terrain - from Philip Larkin to ancient Greek poetry, from modern politics to Chinese philosophy - Woodruff shows how absolutely essential reverence is to a well-functioning society. He tackles some thorny questions: How does reverence allow not only for leaders but for followers? What role does reverence play in religion? Do some religions misuse reverence? Must reverence be humorless? In the process, Woodruff shows convincingly how reverence plays an unseen part in virtually every human relationship, whether in government, work, friendship, or family. It is essential, he says, for us to recover a sense of reverence in order to help repair the fraying bonds that tie us together."--Jacket
