This film shows techniques that one nursery used in combating airborne and contact cross-infections. Techniques include: individual cubicles with individual sterilizing cabinets and supplies, washing hands and arms for 5 minutes and then rubbing on alcohol before touching the babies, masks and clean laboratory coats for nurses, proper sterilizing of bottles and formula, air conditioned units, and germicidal ceiling lamps. Research was done on effectiveness of containing airborne infection; these experiments and their results are shown. This film also shows a chart following the rate of infection and deaths in this orphanage since the early 20's. Film includes shots of Cradle founder, Mrs. William B. Wallrath, and creator of health techniques, Gladys Dick, M.D
