The Rodgers and Hart song book : the words and music of forty-seven of their songs from twenty-two shows and two movies by Richard Rodgers( Book )

3 editions published in 1951 in English and German and held by 5 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This book was conceived with the beginning of the famous collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. It has come to fruition now through the collaboration of a number of other people as well, all of them convinced that the best of the Rodgers and Hart songs had to be published in one beautiful permanent volume, edited by Rodgers. Rodgers selected the forty-seven songs, Doris Lee provided five full-page color paintings and eighty-two black and white drawings created just for this book, and Dr. Albert Sirmay made arrangements of the songs which make them easy and eminently singable for everybody
