Montagu promises to convey some money from Pulteney to Carter, and says she will not conceal that the gift comes from him. Accompanied by an autograph note from A.M. Broadley (signed "AMB") explaining how the letter was given to him by friend and Montagu relative Emily J. Climenson. Purchased together with an autography letter from Matthew Montagu to his wife, now cataloged separately with accession number MS.2010.019
