Cushing, Newburyport, Mass. and presented [to the New Hampshire State Library?] on 25 July 1901by William G. Chandler. Both of these photographs are on grey mat with a studio stamp from Thompson, Newburyport, Mass. A third photograph, on card stock. also derived from a Healy painting, has bottom caption: Chas. Brockway, Colbys Block, Main St., Hillsboro BR. N.H. On the back is the writing "From the painting by G.P.A. Healey in 1850, salt print for a 2 col. cut, Franklin Pierce". The fourth photograph, on card stock, is of a statue of Pierce with the caption and logo of W.G.C. Kimball, Concord, N.H
