Chiefly papers of Benjamin F. Trueblood (1847-1916), general secretary of the society (1892-1915), including correspondence (1871-1915), articles, speeches, lecture notes, biographical information, pamphlets, scrapbooks, photos, and memorabilia, relating to his work with the society, as president of Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio, and Penn College, Oskaloosa, Iowa, and as representative of Christian Arbitration and Peace Society in Europe (1890-1891), and correspondence (1913-1956) of his wife, Sarah H. Trueblood, and his daughter and secretary, Lyra Trueblood Wolkins, who gathered letters and other materials for a biography of Trueblood; together with records of the society including articles of incorporation (1848), scattered annual reports (1836-1924), minutes of the executive committee (1916-1917), pamphlets, leaflets, statements, speeches, and reprints.
