This report featured a forum of 16 Native girls ranging in age from 12-19. The girls listed the following as areas of concern for them: prejudice, smoking, drugs, violence, childcare, housing and financial instability. Several surprising statistics resulted from this report, including 92% of sexually active girls reporting being forced into sexual intercourse on a date, and 67% have been pregnant by the end of their senior year in high school. Several recommendations are given that would help to curb the disturbing trends that are plaguing the young Native women in the Aberdeen area
