Witness to Roswell : unmasking the government's biggest cover-up by Thomas J Carey( Book )

1 edition published in 2009 in English and held by 155 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"The best-selling UFO book of 2007/2008 is revised and updated with even more hard-hitting eyewitness testimony of one of the most important events of all time: the actual recovery of a UFO outside of Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. For more than 60 years, government authorities have led us to believe the wreckage was merely a very conventional weather balloon-but the witnesses who were there continue to tell a different story. Witness to Roswellonce again takes you on a "can't put down" written account of what really transpired in Roswell, 61 years ago. It pries loose the truth the government doesn't want us to know. This revised and expanded edition includes: A growing litany of deathbed confessions describing the "little people" recovered at the crash site; The most comprehensive time line of events ever published on this seminal event; The identity of the Boeing engineer called in to examine the exotic wreckage from the crash; What really took place at the Roswell base hospital and what nurse actually ordered the children's caskets; The story of the soldier who wore gloves at the dinner table after guarding the"bodies." Clearly, the implications are foreboding, and one need just realize that officials now have four explanations to this historic event-but to which one do all the witnesses testify on their deathbeds? Witness to Roswell once again demonstrates to the world that no statute of limitation applies to the truth: We are not alone"--Publisher's description
On Kawara : date painting(s) in New York and 136 other cities by On Kawara( Book )

5 editions published in 2012 in English and held by 121 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

On Kawara (°1933) is fascinated by counting and by time. For more than forty years he has been making not only lists of the years from a million years ago to 1969, for example, but also his "date paintings". He made the first paintingin this Today Series in New York on 4 January 1966: a0monochrome canvas painted with the day, month and year. Since then he has been painting the date according to the same procedure at regular intervals, in New York or in some other city where he happened to be, using a white sans serif script on a monochrome background and following0the conventions of the country in question. Sometimes he adds a press cutting from the newspaper of the day to the painting in the box in which it is stored when not on show. This is the first time that On Kawara presents a retrospective of forty-five years of date paintings.00Exhibition: David Zwirner Gallery, New York

Grounded( Visual )

1 edition published in 2013 in English and held by 58 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The movie tells the true tale of an Alaskan wildlife filmmaker's persistent curiosity and quest to test the claims of what appears to be an outrageously simple and "too good to be true" healing concept -- physical, bare skin contact with the Earth -- which may have been known by civilizations throughout history. New research has started to confirm the unexpected, that the surface of the Earth has healing power, like a gigantic treatment table. He introduces this concept to his fellow townsmen in Haines, Alaska (population 1,700), many of whom suffer from major pain or disabling conditions. Starting with his own pain relief, he witnesses and films a surprising and miraculous healing in the town generated by simply grounding people to the Earth, that is, reconnecting them to the Earth's healing energy. Even an orphaned moose calf named "Karen" participates in the healing. The news of the town's response draws the attention of Apollo astronauts who walked on the moon, as well as doctors and scientists. --Website

Part of a three-lecture series recorded in the 1990s, the messages Dr. Mitchell brings us are perhaps more relevant today than ever. Dr. Mitchell brings light to the essence and significance of the concepts featured in The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. This recording is a great primer for anyone wanting more information on the ideas introduced in The Lost Symbol. Excerpt from recording: "I suggest to you that the way we need to look at it is because we are not really physical beings yearning for a spiritual experience. We are in reality eternal creative beings. Creating a physical experience and it takes quite a shift in mindset to get yourself around that one ... For those of you who haven't heard me before, why is this important? What is it about now, that I would bring this up? What is it about the contemporary period that we live in that perhaps makes this a vital alternative viewpoint to think about and to look at? I will tell you that in the last year I have seldom spoken with a person who did not think that something very strange was going on, who did not think that the world was in a rather major crisis and it seemed to be deepening."
