This collection of interviews documents the personalities of the pioneers of Black radio, as well as their personal struggles and successes. In 1985, he made headlines as "the hardest working man in radio" when he commuted between a morning show in Dallas and an afternoon show in Chicago, earning the nickname "The Fly Jock." In more than thirty years behind the microphone, he's learned a thing or twenty about life, love, money, marriage, black people, white people, and everything in between.--From publisher description
