3 editions published between 1968 and 1988 in 3 languages and held by 11 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Before the pilgrimage comes to an end, both the Devil himself and the Marquis de Sade make an appearance. Discussions of the articles of faith include the observations of a rural police inspector, whose skepticism about the nature of the Eucharist leads him to conclude, "You'll never convince me that the body of Christ can be enclosed in a piece of bread!"
