Brothers Cliff and Jim Brandon are a successful writing team specializing in murder mysteries, but the brothers are almost as disturbed as some of the characters they've created. While researching their latest novel, one of the brothers commits murder, simply to experience the thrill, and attempts to frame their secretary for the crime. The saner of the two brothers races against time to save her from the gallows and bring his sibling to justice
Please yourselves by Frankie Howerd( )

2 editions published in 2009 in English and held by 12 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Titter lots at Frankie Howerd's ditties, sketches, limericks and stand up, recorded in front of a specially-invited audience. The star of TV's 'Up Pompeii' and mainstay of innumerable 'Carry-On' films, Frankie Howerd causes a mayhem of mirth, where even his co-stars can't help laughing. As well as songs, stories, naughtiness and his usual audience banter, 'Please Yourselves' sees Frankie visiting his (female) doctor about an accident where he fell artichoke over chip, which squashed his sprouts and gave him an enormous swelling on his broad beans
Carry on spying by Gerald Thomas( Visual )

1 edition published in 2002 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

A British comedy tradition, Carry On represents a classic genre of parody, double entendre and slapstick unto itself. Trench coats and shady dealings abound as a group of inept trainee spies set out on the trail of a secret formula, misappropriated by a subversive organisation known as S.T.E.N.C.H. It is a cloak and dagger battle of half-wits and hilarity as double-dealings with the likes of The Fat Man, The Head Waiter and agent provocateur Lila lead them to the suspiciously named Society for the Neutralisation of Germs (S.N.O.G)
