"One of the most popular British marques of all time, the venerable Mini, first appeared in 1959. It was the "everyman's" car. A car that could be take out to drive in a rally. Used to commute, court your sweetheart or fitted with a truck bed and turned into a service vehicle. It was a scrappy fun car and it gained fans around the world. It seemed to have a personality. But likke many British car companies, it was boffed down in a larger company that was imploding. Just before it went under BMW came to the rescue. After pouring in millions of Deutschmarks to reive the Mini, the revived car landed on the world stage with a bang. It became a movie star and a cult favorite. This is a car that refused to die."--Container

Interunit collective bargaining relationships in Ohio's regulated, investor-owned electric utilities : 1967-1976 by Michael Rose( )

3 editions published in 1982 in English and held by 5 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This study empirically examines the structure of collective bargaining in seven, major investor-owned electric utilities in Ohio during the period 1967-1976. A conceptual model of a cyclic, structural determining collective bargaining process is presented and the variables in the model are identified and discussed. Several model based hypotheses relating to the structure of collective bargaining in a single, state utility regulatory jurisdiction are evaluated based upon the use of a two-stage, multivariate cluster analysis procedure. Data from collective bargaining contracts and state and federal reports and studies is cluster-analyzed. The cluster structure on structure determining variables and contract outcomes are compared to evaluate the hypotheses and to facilitate an empirically based description of the structure of collective bargaining
