Over de vele commerciële pieken en dalen, persoonlijke vriendschappen en zakelijke geschillen. Over de vrouwen in zijn leven en over zijn kinderen. Koelewijns enerverende leven wordt gekenmerkt door een niet te stuiten dadendrang, zijn muzikale talent en zakelijk inzicht, maar vooral ook door de ongelooflijke hoeveelheid avonturen en lol die hij met zijn vrienden en collega's heeft beleefd
