He has abandoned his latest conquest, the beautiful Elvire, and is now pursued by her brothers, who have sworn to kill him. Sailing, capsizing, lovemaking, disguising, and rescuing follow as merry rake Dom Juan proceeds with his endless progress. 3 editions published between 2005 and 2009 in French and held by 20 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Monsieur Jourdain, a wealthy tradesman, is sparing no expense to try to buy what he can never be: a born gentleman. As delightful as he is fatuous and as genuine as he is naive, M. Jourdain's attempts to transform himself through custom-tailored clothing and all manner of lessons are absurd to everyone-except himself. But when his pretensions lead him to refuse his daughter's hand to Cleante on the grounds that the young man is not a gentleman, he goes too far. Thanks to a clever scheme, she and her beloved find the happiness they seek
Le bourgeois gentilhomme comédie en cinq actes by Molière( Visual )

"Jourdain is a middle-aged "bourgeois" whose father grew rich as a cloth merchant. The foolish Jourdain now has one aim in life, which is to rise above this middle-class background and be accepted as an aristocrat. To this end, he orders splendid new clothes and is very happy when the tailor's boy mockingly addresses him as "my Lord." He applies himself to learning the gentlemanly arts of fencing, dancing, music and philosophy, despite his age; in doing so he continually manages to make a fool of himself, to the disgust of his hired teachers. ... Madame Jourdain, his intelligent wife, sees that he is making a fool of himself and urges him to return to his previous middle-class life, and to forget all he has learned. A cash-strapped nobleman called Dorante has attached himself to M. Jourdain. He secretly despises Jourdain but flatters his aristocratic dreams."--Wikipedia

Don Juan by Molière( Recording )

2 editions published between 1980 and 1989 in French and Italian and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Fearful of falling victim to marital infidelity, bachelor Arnolphe schemes to marry his guileless young ward, Agnes, whom he has had raised in a convent specifically to be his model wife. However, his naive plan is spoiled when Agnes runs away with Horace-a fact that Arnolphe learns when Horace unwittingly asks him to conceal her at his home. Before Arnolphe can react, it is revealed that Agnes' wealthy father has formally arranged her marriage to Horace, dashing his hopes forever. This play-Moliere's greatest commercial success-drew heavy attacks for supposed moral and literary flaws. Not available in French-speaking Canada. (French, 2 parts, 67 minutes and 72 minutes)
Dom Juan by Molière( Recording )

3 editions published in 1989 in Undetermined and French and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Lorenzaccio by Alfred de Musset( Recording )
