Begins with backstage scenes of performers putting on make-up and making other preparations (ca. 4 min.). An aging TV entertainer, Manola Sevilla, is romantically involved with the ambitious and corrupt chief of police, who is involved with an international test-tube baby smuggling ring. After a series of misfortunes, her world collapses and tied to a hospital bed her heart suddenly stops. She is pronounced dead. However, unbeknownst to the press and her enemies, she is revived by a handsome young doctor who becomes her lover. Together they plot her revenge and comeback
