This may be due to the inability of commanders to metrically evaluate their soldiers' conditions. This study utilizes the Holmes and Rahe Social Readjustment Scale to provide that metric. Additionally, it serves as a basis for following studies to determine how that metric can be incorporated into units reporting and readiness
