Messages of the President. Message of the President of the United States, in compliance with a resolution of the Senate of the 25th inst., calling for correspondence between governments of the United States and Great Britain, relative to the enlistment of soldiers by the agents of the latter government, within the territory of the United States; and the message of the President of the United States, in compliance with a resolution of the Senate of the 28th inst., calling for information relative to any proposition submitted to the United States government by that of Great Britain, to refer the difference between the two governments as to the construction of the treaty of July 4, 1850, to arbitration.
