Summary: The famous Arabian Nights story of Aladdin told in silhouette form. Aladdin, a tailor in Bagdad, is asked by a sorcerer to climb down a well and fetch a magic lamp that is kept in a cave underneath. An attempt by the sorcerer to trap him in the cave fails and with the help of the genie of the lamp Aladdin soon becomes rich and marries the caliph's daughter. One day the sorcerer comes around and Aladdin's wife innocently exchanges the old lamp for a new one. In the end Aladdin succeeds in getting it back however and everything ends happily
