This is the final state-of-the-art report of CECUP, Central and Eastern European Copyright User Platform. CECUP is a concerted action financed by the European Commission under the programme Telematics for Libraries, and co-ordinated by EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations). The partners are ten library associations of the ten countries which have applied for membership to the European Union. The preliminary text of the report was published on the Internet in April 1999. This version has been up-dated with several elements: the information received in the CECUP workshops and in the CECUP Steering Group meetings; information on the copyright law revisions in the CECUP countries ; information on their Public Lending Right situation
