After getting involved in a purse-snatching, he is afraid to return to the shelter and wanders the streets until a little boy, abandoned by his mother, attaches himself to him. Feeling responsible for little Ricardo, Julius plans to leave him at the shelter without being seen, but is delighted to find that Luke has returned to look for him. Having learned the meaning of trust, he now realises that an adult's departure need not be permanent. The film is based on a book by Eleanor Clymer and features Scott Baio, who played the title role in "Bugsy Malone", in the part of Julius. Awards: Emmy Award nomination
