Adham al-Sharqāwī is a simple Egyptian farmer. He saw the unfairness of the princess towards Egyptian farmers in his village. Adʹham and al-Shaykh ʻĀshūr convinced the farmers not to sell their productions to the princess. The princess planned to let her guard ʻAbd al-Ghaffār marry Adʹham's beloved, Salmá. Adʹham succeeded in kidnapping Salmá. Therefore, the princess got angry and tried to get rid of Adʹham and his supporters by calling the police. Adʹham had been arrested and was sentenced for 6 years. Adʹham escaped from the jail and secured in the mountains with his followers. He started in recuperation the farmers' rights from the princess and her assistants. Unbelievably, Maghawri, Adʹham's best friend, guided the police to the hiding place of Adʹham during his wedding party. Adʹham resisted to the last breath and he died after killing the British commander of the attck group
