The Vivaldi album by Antonio Vivaldi( Recording )

This recording explores the manuscripts of Vivaldi's operas, finding many masterworks which have been ignored for too long
Sacrificium by Cecilia Bartoli( )

5 editions published in 2009 in Italian and English and held by 687 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The?Sacrificium? project will tell the story of the castrati in all its complexity; its beauty, glamour, controversy and cruelty. The album focuses on the Neapolitan school, which produced superstar castrati including Farinelli and Caffarelli.?The age of the castrati? inspired some of the most virtuosic repertoire ever written for the human voice; elaborate coloratura showpieces and beautiful slow arias, written for the extraordinary vocal abilities of the leading castrati. Following the international success of Opera Proibita, Cecilia Bartoli uncovers more lost jewels of baroque music, with an album almost entirely composed of World Premiere recordings. For the first time since their record-breaking Vivaldi Album, Cecilia Bartoli is reunited with leading Italian period instrument ensemble Il Giardino Armonico and their director Giovanni Antonini

Violin concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart( )

5 editions published in 2016 in No Linguistic content and Undetermined and held by 374 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Mozart was not even fifteen years old when he began composing violin concertos that would serve as a backdrop at Salzburg receptions. An insatiable drive for independence would lead the young Konzertmeister to overtly challenge musical forms. He innovated with genres, humor, and frivolity, all of which can be heard in this delightful first collaboration between Isabelle Faust and the musicians of Il Giardino Armonico

Serpent & fire by Anna Prohaska( )

4 editions published in 2016 in 4 languages and held by 276 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Il filosofo by Giardino armonico (Musical group)( )

4 editions published in 2015 in No Linguistic content and English and held by 256 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

For this second volume in the Haydn 2032 project, the complete recording of his symphonies, Giovanni Antonini has chosen to put forward the Symphony Der Philosoph. He associates with it a symphony by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, eldest son of the Kantor of Leipzig, who is generally considered the most gifted of his sons. Different reasons brought these two great composers the originality and sometimes eccentricity that characterize their works, one suffering from the fame of his father, the other from his own genius. Whereas Haydns symphonies differentiate themselves by form, orchestration and keys, W. F. Bachs begins in the style of a Baroque overture, gradually turning into a tempestuous piece and perhaps already reflecting the transition from a Golden Age to the more tormented world that will follow the Age of Enlightenment
La passione by Joseph Haydn( )

Telemann by Georg Philipp Telemann( )

3 editions published between 2015 and 2016 and held by 249 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Le quattro stagioni = The four seasons by Antonio Vivaldi( )

6 editions published between 1994 and 2013 and held by 246 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Together with the star players of Brecon Baroque, Podger guides listeners through the cycle of nature and life. Vivaldi's Four Seasons have become one of classical music's best loved works. However, most recordings adopt a strikingly similar approach to these scores, and familiarity has blunted the music's edge. Podger's new recording aims to reset the clock, refocusing on the ingredients that make it so special and reminding listeners of the remarkable freshness of Vivaldi's invention
