Und beim a-Moll-Doppelkonzert, dem stets ein Quäntchen Pathos innewohnt, mit dem 1988 geborenen Cellisten Mark Schumann zeigt sich: Die beiden Brüder agieren musikalisch auf einer Wellenlänge. Solistische Leidenschaft tritt zutage. Alle bleiben dran. Die Nürnberger Symphoniker spielen engagiert und werkdienlich. Da wird ein sehr gültiger Feinschliff zweier Brahms-Brocken abgeliefert" (Badische Zeitung)
