A complete cycle of 52 years made up what is sometimes called the Mexican century. Glass (HMAI, vol. 14, p. 300, 309) believes the calendar wheel to be a falsified pictorial manuscript. Also at the Newberry is Waldeck's own drawing of the calendar wheel. more
