The collection also includes a poem written by Eliza R. Snow which was dedicated to Bullock on his departure on a Church mission to Europe in 1856 and letters received during his mission which tell of the church reformation of 1856 and the moving of the Utah capital from Fillmore to Salt Lake City. Correspondents included Leo Hawkins and Robert L. Campbell. Also included are blessings given to Bullock and members of his family by William J. Smith, John Smith, Isaac Morley, George A. Smith and Wilford Woodruff

The wards included the towns of Coalville, Wanship, Parley's Park, Kamas, Peoa, Rockport, Hoytsville, Hennerferville, Echo, Upton, Evanston, and Alma. The list, including a list of the members of the building committee was compiled by Thomas Bullock, Skate Historian and Recorder. The back side contains handwritten information on Coalville Ward officer organizations: including the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Association, organized in 1878, the Coalville Relief Society, organized in 1867, the Young Ladies Mutual Improvement Association, organized in 1879, and the 1874 reorganization of the Coalville Relief Society
