A film about Abd al-Tawwab a merchant of medical herbals who is hiding that his real work is a smuggler of narcotics. His oldest son Kamal didn't finish his studies and worked with his father keeping his secret. After his father dies he informs his family about the real work. They are shocked and don't believe him at first. There were narcotics about to arrive, so Kamal asks his two brothers Shukri, an officer, and 'Adil, a doctor, to help him get the smuggled goods. They agree to help Kamal. Shukri resigns and 'Adil takes a leave without pay to help their brother. Before they dive to get the goods from the sea, Kamal becomes very frightened beacuse he can't dive. Kamal's wife replaces him, but she drowns. The three brothers store the narcotics in the salty sea. They stored the narcotics incorrectly, so they lost the deal. Shukri kills himself, 'Adil goes mad and Kamal looses everything

Dramatic work about a man called "Sālim" who was arrested by mistake in a crime. His brother-in-law had involoved in an affaire with a young woman and she was pregnant. "Sālim" didn't tell his wife about what happened and he took the young woman to a doctor to do an abortion but she died during the operation. "Sālim" and the doctor were arrested and went to jail. "Sālim" didn't tell the truth to his wife who thought that he had an affaire with the young woman. After a while "Sālim" knew that his wife was very sick. He tried to escape many times but he couldn't. When he knew that his wife was going to die, Sālim begged the commissioner of jail to give him a chance to see his wife before she die. The commissioner approved and gave Sālim two hours after the last one swore to come back to the jail. At the end Sālim told the truth to his wife before she died and came back to the jail by himself
