David Alfaro Siqueiros, Mexican muralist and communist, traveled to Argentina in the 1930s to give some conferences and paint a mural of a revolutionary subject. His purpose was doomed due to the nationalist spirit in the country at that time, so he accepted the invitation of a press mogul to collaborate in the cultural supplement of the newspaper and paint a mural in the basement of a villa. The mural underwent many vicissitudes as the villa changed hands, but it was finally reconstructed and restored in 2010 at the new Museum of Political Art in Argentina. This movie is a documented account of the making of the mural and of Argentine society of that time
