The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland are here - made for children's ears - in the spirit of the author. Noisily presents the colorful dances strange figures and situations: a white rabbit with a giant clock, a hookah-puffing caterpillar, a constantly grinning Cheshirekatze, a sleeping mouse heart king with his queen of hearts. It is gegurrrt, growling, grunting and - quite incorrectly - sung. Furthermore, an infinite Tea Party, a croquet with flamingo bats and a lobster quadrille without lobster shall be held before the Knave of stealing land in court

"Celebrating the 150th anniversary of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland comes this richly illustrated and expanded collector's edition of Martin Gardner's The Annotated Alice. First appearing in 1960, The Annotated Alice became an instant classic by, among other things, decoding the wordplay and mathematical riddles embedded within Lewis Carroll's masterpiece. As a result, Martin Gardner's groundbreaking work went on to sell over a million copies, establishing the modest math genius as one of our foremost Carroll scholars. Now, on the sesquicentennial of Alice's 1865 publication, comes this deluxe edition that combines all Gardner's annotations with updates from his Knight Letter columns and correspondence with leading Carrollian experts. This gorgeous edition also includes over 100 new color and black-and-white illustrations, including images by Salvador Dalí and Barry Moser, which complement the original John Tenniel art. With close cooperation from the Lewis Carroll Society of North America and an introduction by its president emeritus, Mark Burstein, this authorized edition perfectly celebrates the legacy of both Martin Gardner and Lewis Carroll"
A tangled tale by Lewis Carroll( Book )

1 edition published in 1978 in German and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

This is the extended and annotated edition including an extensive biographical annotation about the author and his life all the original illustrations A Tangled Tale is a collection of ten brief humorous stories by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), published serially between April 1880 and March 1885 in The Monthly Packet magazine. Arthur B. Frost added illustrations when the series was printed in book form. The stories, or Knots as Carroll calls them, present mathematical problems. In a later issue, Carroll gives the solution to a Knot and discusses readers' answers. The mathematical interpretations of the Knots are not always straightforward. The ribbing of readers answering wrongly - giving their names - was not always well received. (from wikipedia)
