There are two fairly distinct groups within this collection of family memorabilia. Series I is primarily correspondence, both business and personal, spanning the 1770's to the 1880's. There are indentures, land grants, surveys, store accounts, a scrapbook and a funeral notice. Series II is twentieth century and is the collected momentos of Robert S. Lowrance, Jr., a multi-talented life long Atlanta resident. Scrapbooks, photo albums, diplomas, certificates, correspondence, church bulletins, music programs, clippings and books are included. The Finley and Rounsaville families were related to Lowrance through his mother
