1 edition published in 2002 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

"This video is based on the 'Masters Tour' lecture demonstration that took place on 10th February 2002 at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Bucks England. Hosted by Britain's Richard Davison, the evening starts with Anky Van Grunsven and her partner/trainer Sjef Janssen, talking about what they look for when buying a young star. Anky then rides a five year old mare. She and Sjef discuss how they start off the young horse, what exercises they perform and Anky demonstrates these. In the last section of the first half, Anky gives a lesson to one of her pupils and then rides the horse herself. The second half starts with a short interview when Anky recalls some of the great moments, with Bonfire, his strengths and weaknesses and how he conquered his fears. The final section sees Anky riding one of her stars of the future under Sjef's watchful eye, and this fascinating 'lesson' has the capacity crowd enthralled. Filmed with four cameras, this video is full of information and tips, it is also a wonderful insight into how an Olympic Champion prepares herself and her horses and what it takes to make it to the top"--Container

HSBC FEI European eventing championships : Fontainebleau 2009( Visual )

1 edition published in 2009 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

In the build up to the 30th running of these Championships the Germans were clear favorites to lift the team title having already secured the World and Olympic Gold. Great Britain have won the last seven European team titles but few expected them to lead after the dressage and then sweep all before them, despite Badminton winner Flint Curtis not being on top form. Kristina Cook (GBR) won Silver in the Europeans in 1993 on Song & Dance Man and a brilliant Bronze in Hong Kong last year in the Olympics on Miners Frolic. Despite her concerns re the cross country course not suiting her long striding majestic thoroughbred she would lead from start to finish on Miners Frolic to claim her first Gold although the winning margin in the end was less than a second from "find" of the event, Piggy French (GBR) and Some Day Soon. Extensive highlights of the cross country are sandwiched between highlights of the dressage and the show jumping finale. --Container
