Formulating a generalized hartree method (k voprosu o postroenii obobshchennogo metoda khartri)(
Book
)
1 edition published in 1965 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide
In this paper it is shown that the orbitals of individual configurations of a multiconfiguration approximation are slightly dependent on the terms of a given configuration as well as on the type of coupling. The generalized method of the Fock selfconsistent field, which consists of its extension to a multiconfiguration approximation, is contrasted with the generalized Hartree method, in which the linear combination of products of radial orbitals is used as the variation wave function to find the orbitals, while all the other calculations are carried out in accordance with the generalized Fock method. The suggested method for the helium atom yielded practically the same results as the complete generalized Fock method. (Author)

Fock selfconsistent field in the multiconfiguration approximation for the negative ion of potassium (samosoglasovannoe pole
foka v mnogokonfiguratsionnom priblizhenii dlya otritsatelnogo iona kaliya)(
Book
)
1 edition published in 1965 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide
Solutions to the Fock equations are presented in the multiconfiguration approximation for the 4p and 3d radial orbitals as the correction configurations of the twoconfiguration approximations 4s(2)4p(2) and 4s(2)3d(2), in the case of the negative ion of potassium. The energy value of the 4s(2) shell is determined in the threeconfiguration approximation 4s(2)4p(2)3d(2). The value of the electron affinity of the potassium atom is presented in the indicated threeconfiguration approximation. (Author)

Calculation of the splitting of a triplet term of the positive ion of nitrogen (tripletinio termo suskilimo skaiciavimas teigiamo
azoto iono atveju)(
Book
)
1 edition published in 1966 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide
It was previously shown (see CFSTI reports TT6119029 and TT6419580) that Fock selfconsistentfield orbitals permit rather accurate theoretical evaluation of the splitting of terms, while analytic orbitals are suitable only if the progressions of the splitting follow in isoelectronic sequences. In the present paper, results are presented for the theoretical splitting of the triplet term in the ground configuration of the positive ion of nitrogen

Fock selfconsistent field for doubly ionized nitrogen (samosoglasovannoe pole foka dyla dvukratnogo iona azota)(
Book
)
1 edition published in 1965 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide
Solutions to the equations of the Fock selfconsistent field for the ground configuration of doubly ionized nitrogen are presented. The total energy is determined with these solutions in both the singleconfiguration and the twoconfiguration approximations. The theoretical results are compared with experimental data. (Author)

Twoconfiguration approximation for the calcium atom (dvukhkonfiguratsionnoe priblizhenie v sluchae atoma kaltsiya)(
Book
)
1 edition published in 1965 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide
The Fock equation in the twoconfiguration approximation is solved with the 4p radial orbital of the calcium atom in the correction configuration of the approximation 4s(2)4p(2). The energy value of the 4s(2) shell is determined in the indicated twoconfiguration approximation. The ionization potential of the neutral atom is presented. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data. Transition theory quantities are also determined in the twoconfiguration approximation. (Author)
